As we have now become a Constitued Charity (8th June 2011), we are now open to membership. We would greatly value supporters of ‘This Tangled Web’ to become members.

What is the difference between constituted and registered charity?

To become registered with the charity commission, you must have a minimum of £5000 in your account. This Tangled Web is starting very small and we hope to grow. We do not have the finances to become fully registered at this time. Therefore we have followed the guidance of the chairty commission to become the next best thing! We have a constitution and a board of trustees. Our official title is a small constituted charity. If you would like further clarification on this matter please visit: www.charity-commission.gov.uk

Why become a member?

As a member of ‘This Tangled Web’ you will recieve a quartely newsletter either via email or via the post (your choice). You will recieve a leather bookmark (exclusive to members) and for any events with limited places, members will have first priority to those events. You will also be warmly welcome to attend our AGM and have a vote on the next years board of trustees. Members are welcome to submit items for our newsletter (editor makes the final decision on submitted material).

What do we require of members?

As a member of This Tangled Web’ the membership fee for a one year membership term is £5.00. This can be paid via our onsite paypal button (please see the donations page) or you can post a cheque to our secretary. Please make cheques payable to ‘This Tangled Web’ and post to ‘This Tangled Web’ C/O Mr Jonathan Gilbert, 26′A’ Princes Rd, TW11 0RW

How can I become a member?
